Bitchin' Sauce

Every July in the little town of Floyd, VA, nestled under the Blue Ridge Mountains, something magical happens: scores of big-hearted misfits, hippies, cowpokes, flower children, deadheads, and their families come out of the woodwork. They set up tents & RV's, and gather around for a weekend-long party hosted by a world-class menagerie of musicians and jam-specialists. Ask anyone who's been- FloydFest is a rare & special place!

As a company founded by nomadic rockers, FloydFest is our Bitchin' home away from home. For our annual team adventure, we took a break from the surf in sunny San Diego to fly out to the good 'ole Virginia countryside. Our mission was to spread only two things: love and sauce. The method? Hosting a free, weekend-long, totally Bitchin' tie-dye experience!

Under the shaded ENO Outdoor Adventures tent, festival-goers let their creativity flow with the help of highly trained Bitchin' tie-dye experts (aka our Marketing Team). By the end, over 600 shirts were tied & dyed. One might say that, just as FloydFest blends the wide world of great music, so too did our Bitchin' tie-dye experience artfully weave together an expansive & majestic array of colors reflecting the beauty & diversity of life itself. Another way to put it- we got 600 peeps to rock a shirt that reads "It's Nuts & Heart". We're callin' that a major W!

While the masses were gettin' psychedelic, all-access VIP's were invited to our Bitchin' VIP Pub Stage, a party-hardy experience that combined craft bevies, snacks, and a curated musical lineup that mixed returning favorites with brand new up-and-coming talent. Back at the main stage, powerhouse players like Lake Street Dive, Marcus King Band, Melissa Etheridge, and Old Crow Medicine Show were only a few of the many talented headliners that rocked the main stage for 5 straight nights!
 

Face-melting music, quality food & drinks, lots of naps, and a weekend spent with VA's finest & most lovely denizens. It doesn't get much more saucy. To our beloved FloydFam- we can't wait to reunite with you next year. Bitchin' uniforms on us!
