Bitchin’ Sauce Launches Newest Flavor “Hatch” in Sprouts Nationwide

Carlsbad, CA - Off the heels of the fruitful Spring season launch with Thai-curry “Panang”, Bitchin’ Sauce is once again adding a new limited-run item to Sprouts Farmers Market shelves with the pepper-packed “Hatch” Green Chile flavor. For the makers of the smash-hit Almond dip, this new item expands upon a longstanding love affair with the tastes of the American Southwest.
“Hatch” is described as toasty, subtly sweet and with a steady, flavorful spice honoring the signature palate of the famed Hatch Chile. Each batch of Hatch Bitchin’ Sauce is blended with a heavy handful of fire roasted green chili peppers, while the presence of pepita seeds and jalapeno round out the welcoming desert-cuisine flavor.
Bitchin’ Sauce’s proven track record of success with Southwestern US flavor profiles dates back to the earliest innovations on the Bitchin’ formula. The second-ever Bitchin’ release (and consistent top seller for nearly a decade) was “Chipotle”, a smoky, moderate-heat flavor with famously addictive appeal. A third release- the fresh and zesty “Cilantro Chili”- saw the company embrace its roots in coastal SoCal. Alongside the Original Bitchin’ Sauce, it was these two Southwest-spiced entries which catapulted the brand into broad grocery shopper awareness.
Emblazoned with a distinctive deep-green lid, tubs of Hatch Bitchin’ Sauce will debut in nearly 400 Sprouts Stores nationwide beginning in August, and will remain in rotation through the end of September.
