Bitchin' Sauce

Carlsbad, CA  – Bitchin’ Sauce’s organic line, This Dip Is Nuts!, has secured two of the top three awards in this year’s Specialty Food Association’s (SFA) 2020 sofi™ Awards in the Dips & Salsas category, a top honor in the $158Bn specialty food industry. These wins continue a trend of dominance in the category with Bitchin’ Sauce accounting for 7 of the last 9 awards with Roasted Green Chile & Pepita taking the gold award and Spinach Artichoke securing the bronze award for 2020.  

The Roasted Green Chile & Pepita and Spinach Artichoke were one of 148 winners and selected by a panel of specialty food experts from nearly 2,000 entries across 39 product categories. Products are judged on taste, including flavor, appearance, texture and aroma, ingredient quality, and innovation. All tastings are blind. This year, for the first time, sofi judging was held at the prestigious Rutgers Food Innovation Center following strict safety guidelines.
